Pono Systems is led by a principal with twenty years in design and product management, from Cupertino tech to startups and dot coms, and twenty years of executive leadership in Hawaiʻi nonprofits. The last two years have been spent full time on AI implementation: not reading about it, but rebuilding a working statewide platform on an AI-native architecture and running the operation on it daily.
